David Nelson claimed the seven-figure prize by playing the “777” scratch-off game.

Nelson chose to take the lump sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity. He's decided to build a new house with the cash.

He bought the ticket at The Wine Nook at 18 Main St. in Townsend. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.

The state lottery said three $4 million "777" tickets remain in circulation, and six more $1 million winners are still available.
